His effective management of financial crime compliance programs and delivery of training initiatives highlight his proactive approach and commitment to enhancing organizational compliance awareness.

Earlier in his career at ICICI Bank, Kothari served as deputy compliance m anager, where his analytical skills came to the forefront. His investigation of AML cases and management of global compliance communications allowed him to strategically identify changing regulations that impacted trade finance operations. His contributions significantly aided the institution in maintaining compliance amidst stringent regulatory requirements.

At Compliance Asia Consulting Limited, Kothari took on a consulting role, managing a diverse range of clients and their compliance needs. Moni Micah brings more than 20 years of financial, strategic, and entrepreneurial experience to his role as Head of the Real Estate and Mortgage Division at Balfour Capital Group. As a licensed real estate agent in the State of Florida with the esteemed Signature Real Estate, Moni blends leadership, quantitative analytics, and a global outlook to procure and structure complex international real estate transactions.

Before expanding into real estate leadership at Balfour, Moni held senior roles in research and financial markets at Sterling Trading Group, J.P. Turner & Company, GunnAllen Financial, and INTERCAP Wealth Management. Throughout his tenure, he successfully managed a foreign exchange sales team of more than 25 professionals, led a group of over 30 brokers in the bond and IPO markets—particularly within the fast-growing technology sector—and served as an investment banker specializing in underwriting public offerings and executing operational turnarounds.

At INTERCAP Wealth Management, Moni played a pivotal role in designing and implementing the firm’s business development strategy, launching both European and Asian divisions, and driving revenue through innovative market-expansion initiatives.

Today at Balfour Capital Group, Moni oversees the firm’s long-term real estate strategy, directs business development across global markets, and fosters relationships with key stakeholders, including international investors, developers, and lending partners. His proven leadership, analytical discipline, and entrepreneurial vision make him a foundational pillar of Balfour’s global real estate and mortgage platform.

With over two decades of experience spanning financial consulting, market analysis, and executive leadership, Mihnea Ion Grecu brings a unique blend of strategic insight, operational excellence, and international business acumen. A Romanian native fluent in English, French, and Romanian, Mihnea has led ventures in the U.S. and Europe, driving growth, innovation, and profitability across diverse sectors.

He is best known as the founder and Executive Director of The Village Gourmet Cheese Shoppe in Southampton, NY—an upscale food market where he delivered consistent revenue growth, expanded product lines, and opened a second location in Palm Beach, FL. He also became the exclusive U.S. importer and distributor for LaSemeuse Swiss Coffee, overseeing the full market entry and distribution strategy.

Earlier in his career, Mihnea served as General Manager of TAG Travel Agency in Bucharest, where he doubled customer volume and significantly increased net income by introducing personalized services to the Romanian tourism market. He also launched IDEI DE VACANȚĂ, a travel magazine that grew circulation and advertising revenue within its first three issues.

As a Senior Consultant with EURO Communications & Consulting, Mihnea successfully led EU-funded SAPARD and PHARE projects, navigating complex financial applications and liaising with both local authorities and European Commission representatives. His strategic planning and business development skills helped secure critical funding for clients and municipalities.

Mihnea began his career in logistics and market research, later transitioning into executive roles where he excelled at developing customer-centric business models, building high-performing teams, and identifying market trends to inform product and pricing strategies.

Lastly, he holds a BA in Finance and Banking from Titu Maiorescu University (Cum Laude) and pursued an MBA in Marketing and Finance at DeVry University’s Keller Business School. He also holds certifications in Tourism Management, Web Design, and Emergency Medical Services.

Lucas do Marco is an international business specialist with over a decade of experience navigating cross-border operations, client servicing, and multicultural stakeholder engagement across Australia, Europe, and Latin America. His background spans international market expansion, supply-chain coordination, and advisor relationship management; supported by a career built in diverse, high-pressure environments where communication, adaptability, and operational precision are essential.

As Global Liaison for Advisors at Balfour Capital Group, Lucas supports the firm’s international advisor network by streamlining communication, coordinating cross-market initiatives, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality service to clients and partners worldwide. He serves as a central point of contact between advisors and internal teams, helping translate global strategy into on-the-ground execution. His multicultural background and fluency in multiple languages strengthen BCG’s global footprint and enhance advisor engagement across regions.

Prior to joining Balfour, Lucas managed his own boats and residential properties maintenance business in Western Australia, where he oversaw client relationships, project management, procurement, and budgeting. His hands-on operational leadership strengthened his ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage timelines, and deliver consistent results; skills that now support his work liaising across international advisory teams.

Previously, he served in client support roles within a private investment firm in Europe, where he handled onboarding, compliance documentation, account monitoring, and daily reconciliation activities. Acting as the primary contact for clients, he developed experience in structured communication, issue resolution, and long-term relationship building.

Lucas’s early career includes supervisory roles in hospitality and accommodation management across the United Kingdom and Australia, as well as administrative and international sales experience at MECMAQ in Brazil. There, he supported logistics, technical assistance, and domestic and international shipments, representing the company at major trade fairs and strengthening its commercial relationships.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management from Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba in São Paulo, complemented by a Certificate II in Business from Australia Pacific College in Sydney. Lucas is fluent in Portuguese and English, with additional proficiency in Spanish and Italian.
